Course content
Students survey novel technologies, innovative concepts, and impactful researches regarding human computer interaction (HCI). In the class, we have discussion based on the survey to acquire a higher perspective in the HCI field. All students in this class are required to ask about the presented research.
The main language in this course is Japanese but English is acceptable (you can write reports and make presentations in English).
Purpose of class
To obtain knowledge about HCI, skills for discussion, and higher perspective.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students can read technical papers and clearly explain it.
  2. Students can survey top level research in HCI field and explain it.
  3. Students can discuss the background and impact of the research.
  4. Students can logically describe the report based on the discussion.
