Design is the process of translating various specifications, functions, needs, etc. into an entity that can actually perform
them, and the basic process can be divided into two parts as below.
1) Exploring the existing relationship between specifications, functions, needs, etc. and the entities that realize them: research and analysis
2) Conception, prototyping, and verification of entities that are expected to satisfy these needs: modeling and prototyping
In this class, we will practice "specific modeling and prototyping techniques" required in 2), in particular, by using tasks with few design elements to acquire these skills.

The objective of this course is to acquire modeling and prototyping skills, which are fundamental among the various skills
required in specialized areas of design.
At the same time, to acquire the following two skills through practice.
1) The ability to judge whether or not the shape is reasonable and aesthetically pleasing.
2) Ability to communicate intentions of proposal concisely and accurately

In principle, the final submission of each assignment is used as the basis for grading.
Each assignment is graded on 11 levels: S, A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D.
The distribution of marks for each assignment is determined by the difficulty of each task and the total number of tasks, and is not fixed at the start of the class.
However, the distribution of marks will be calculated based on the assumption that "getting a C in all assignments = 60 points", and this will be used as a guideline for obtaining credits.
