Course description
For the scientific/engineering study or the design of products, various calculations are necessary.
A computer enables fast and accurate calculations and can numerically solve the problems that were
unsolvable by traditional methods.

In order to calculate numerically, we need to know the methods which are suitable for computer calculation.
The methods are necessary to be
1) systematic and can be coded as programs
2) compatible with the characteristics of computer calculation
3) executable for large scale calculation
In this class, students will learn fundamental concepts and numerical calculation methods.

To understand fundamental concepts and methods in numerical calculation
