Purpose of class
The objective of this class is to provide students with foundational knowledge regarding energy consumption in homes and buildings, and to enable them to develop energy plans for achieving low-carbonization and energy conservation.
Course description
This course will cover the planning methods and technologies for achieving ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) and ZWB (Zero Water Building) targets in building energy planning. Students will learn about enhancing the efficiency of building systems and utilizing renewable energy, among other approaches, after understanding the definitions of these goals.
