Purpose of class
Design architecture through understanding program and context
Course description
Students will receive design guidance from multiple faculty members in order to apply the skills acquired in the second semester of the second year of “Urban Architectural Design Exercise 3” to more advanced urban architecture. The subject of the design assignment is an architectural hall as a medium-scale facility. Students will be divided into groups and instructed by one faculty member to improve their skills in the skills specific to architectural design (drawing, modeling, spatial understanding, and diagramming).
This course also includes a wooden house design project, but international students are not allowed to take this course. International students are not allowed to take other design courses at the same time.
