The aim of this course is to develop the students’ ability to communicate in English. Students will discuss topics related
to architecture, building up their active vocabulary, grammatical knowledge, and spoken fluency. They will also carry out
a variety of listening activities.
- To be able to communicate in English about given topics with a degree of fluency and confidence.
- To be able to use a range of vocabulary and grammar in conversation.
- To be able to understand short conversations and speeches in everyday settings.

The final score will be calculated as follows: 90 % of the class score (100 full points) + 10% of TOEIC-IP test score. Students
need to score 60% or more in order to pass the course. For the calculation of the TOEIC test score, a score of 700 is regarded
as full points (100 points). A score of 700 and above will be counted as 100 points.

- The student has reached the requirements of the assignment in an appropriate and logical manner. Meets the target level. 70%.
- The student has exceeded the requirements of the assignment. Exceeds target level. 80% or more.
