Purpose of class
Students will learn fundamental techniques for making a good presentation.
Course description
Students will learn fundamental techniques for making a good presentation. Specifically, they will practice the use of gestures, eye contact, and speech organization in order to express their ideas to the audience in a clear and understandable manner. They will apply the techniques learned in class in several class presentations.
Goals and objectives
  1. To gain a knowledge of the fundamental techniques for making a good presentation.
  2. To be able to apply these techniques in making class presentations.
  3. To be able to organize and structure a presentation.

Evaluation method and criteria
The final score will be calculated as follows: 90 % of the class score (100 full points) + 10% of TOEIC-IP test score. Students need to score 60% or more in order to pass the course. For the calculation of the TOEIC test score, a score of 700 is regarded as full points (100 points). A score of 700 and above will be counted as 100 points.

A score of 60% is needed to pass this course.
Students can expect to obtain more than 60 points if students actively participate in class and if their performance on tests and assignments shows that they have mostly comprehended the learning contents of the course.

The students will get pass by 60% or more and the assessment criteria are as follows:
- The student has reached the assignment in accordance with its requirements. The minimum level is reached. 60%.
- The student has reached the requirements of the assignment in an appropriate and logical manner. Meets the target level. 70%.
- The student has exceeded the requirements of the assignment. Exceeds target level. 80% or more.
