1 Special Lecture on the Biochemistry
This course aims to survey contemporary advancements in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology. By analyzing and
presenting findings from the latest research articles in English, students will gain a comprehensive and systematic perspective
on these biological disciplines.
The fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology are evolving at a remarkable pace, uncovering the molecular
basis and physiological mechanisms underlying complex biological phenomena. Their medical impact is profound, with innovative
methodologies revolutionizing the therapeutic approaches for once-untreatable diseases. As this research trajectory continues
to expand, staying abreast of these developments is essential.
This course offers a comprehensive overview of the latest knowledge in these integrated disciplines. To foster a systematic
understanding, students are required to review and present findings from cutting-edge research papers published in English.
The goal is to equip students with the ability to perceive these fields as an interconnected biological system.
- Regenerative Medicine: Discuss the clinical importance and technical/ethical hurdles of regenerative medicine.
- Autophagy: Describe the mechanistic links between autophagy and pathogenesis.
- Latest Research: Provide an overview of recent advancements and cutting-edge studies in biochemistry and molecular biology.
