MURAKAMI Kimiya
Purpose of class
Heat source systems for air conditioning equipment account for approximately 40% of a building’s annual primary energy consumption. Therefore, the purpose of this class is for equipment design engineers to acquire energy-saving technologies and high-efficiency methods related to heat source systems and energy systems.
Course content
Drawing on advanced case studies of heat source systems and energy system planning, this course teaches methods for enhancing the efficiency of heat source systems and energy systems. Students will conduct research on existing papers related to these topics and present their findings. This course is designated as an internship-related subject.
Goals and objectives
  1. The ability to evaluate a building’s primary energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
  2. The ability to understand and explain the mechanisms of heat source systems and energy systems, along with their energy-saving factors.
  3. The ability to evaluate the efficiency and energy savings rate of heat source systems and energy systems.
