Purpose of class
Obtain basic knowledge in systems control and optimization, write report or short paper and present the study.
Course content
After reading papers and references in areas including large-scale and decentralized control systems, switched/hybrid systems and control, cooperative and robust control, make appropriate problem formulation, and then propose original approach and perform theoretic study together with numerical simulation. Finally, summarize the entire research as a master thesis and make the presentation.
