Purpose of class
Through the projects undertaken in this course, students will develop skills applicable to creating presentations for future problem-finding projects. By repeatedly practicing the fundamentals of information design, the goal is to cultivate the ability to visualize ideas that come to mind and communicate them effectively.
Course description
This course covers the fundamental principles of visual communication, focusing on understanding the basic theories and characteristics of color, typography, and composition as design elements. Through graphic software operation and UI/UX design production, students learn the foundational techniques essential for information design.

  1. It can clearly express charts and diagrams necessary for visual communication.
  2. The viewer can easily understand the typography and layout when accessing the information.
  3. You can acquire basic computer software skills for graphic design.

Evaluation method and criteria
〈Evaluation Method〉The overall evaluation for each assignment is weighted at 100%.
〈Evaluation Criteria〉Each assignment will be evaluated based on the following criteria: understanding of the assignment’s purpose, information architecture and presentation, production skills and technical proficiency, and the overall quality of the final deliverable. The passing score of 60 points represents the minimum standard required to achieve the learning objectives of this course.
