Purpose of class
This course aims at obtaining knowledge and basic skills about Cognitive Ergonomics. By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Explain and be able to give an overview of Cognitive Ergonomics.
2. Explain the typical approaches used in Cognitive Ergonomics.
Course description
This course focuses on a discipline called Cognitive Ergonomics in the field of Human Factors and Ergonomics (HF/E), which is concerned with human behaviour and cognitive processes, such as sensation, perception, and cognition. This course aims at obtaining knowledge and basic skills about the basics of mental processes, design of human-machine interface and environment, and techniques for designing/evaluation of artefact.
