Purpose of class
The purpose of this course is to help students master the basic concepts of entirely machine design and drawing. Design drawing is to indicate the necessary information to collect all related information about a target product and prepare drawings in order to make.
Upon successfully completion of the course, students are able to understand how to collect informations, as well as to get the process of machine design and drawing
Course description
An engineer have to acquire knowledge in the basic field of the mechanical engineering to design a machine. But since putting it in the actual design, no one can decide about everything by calculation. In other words, every engineer has to be learning mechanical structure, function, machining, method for construction and maintenance. These are often learned from pioneer’s experience. This course deals with an actual design and drawing of simple shaft driving mechanism. According to do actual design and drawing, the ability of drawing, machine element, machining, strength of materials and related knowledge are improved
Goals and objectives
  1. It’s possible to understand third angle projection and draw easy mechanical parts accordingly.
  2. It’s possible to understand an easy mechanical drawing.
  3. It can be understood between the modelling of the product and the drawing.

Evaluation method and criteria
1)Every drawings must be finished till appointed time and date, and oral exam related drawing method must be cleared at least 60 points out of 100.
Then, your final grade will be calculated according to the following process: every drawings 85%, oral exam 15%. To pass students must earn 60% out of 100%
2)Evaluation 60 points is based upon the followings:
* A series of JIS B0001 is understood
* Drawings must be followed by JIS B 0001
* And those contents can be explained
