Acquire the mechanism of the feature, the measurement, the evaluation method of the sound, and the sound device
Course description
This course covers main subjects of acoustic engineering. They are audio transducers and sound propagation, and aural characteristic in audio interface. Additionally, they leads to understanding of recent acoustical systems.

Evaluation method and criteria
Grade is judged by the midterm examination (25%), the term examination (25%), reports and quizzes(50%). Passing standard is over 60%.
Students who can explain key textbook terms, perform major operations, and solve 80% of the exercises given during lectures can achieve a score of 60 points or higher.
