Purpose of class
Study the basics of information theory
Course description
Mobile phone technologies and internet technologies make extreme service for human beings. Information theory is the base of above technologies. This subject grants basic knowledge of information theory including probability theories, coding and decoding of information and so on.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understanding the telecommunication system, probability theory, and informatics on telecommunication (Schedule 1-2)
  2. Understanding the physical meaning of source coding theory (Schedule 3-6)
  3. Understanding the amount of information (Schedule 7-9)
  4. Understanding the physical meaning of coding of communication path and encoding theory (Schedule 10-14)
