Purpose of class
This course aims to enable students to practice career development necessary for creating products and services that address societal needs and solve social issues. Students will update their learning plans for their future, formulate research plans aligned with their desired professional goals, and begin taking action toward those plans.
Course description
Building upon the learning plans developed in the first half of “Career Design 1: Career Design,” which linked societal trends with personal future aspirations, this course further specifies target occupations and professional competencies. Students conceptualize research content to realize these goals. They reflect on the implementation progress of their first-year learning plans and update them through group discussions. Students synthesize the knowledge and skills acquired in their first and second years to establish the direction for their comprehensive research in the third year and beyond. Through alternating individual and group work, they document their own research plans for careers enabling social contribution. By explaining these plans to others, they deepen self-understanding and prepare to engage in proactive research activities.
Goals and objectives

  2. Can understand the purpose and methods of interdisciplinary learning, be able to explain in writing the relevance between one’s target field and related fields, and demonstrate one’s intended direction
  3. Can discuss future aspirations with others in one’s own words, update the learning plan necessary to realize them, and identify the direction to pursue
