Purpose of class
Utilizing the knowledge and experiential learning gained in Systems Engineering and Entrepreneurship A, students will learn the business creation process for transforming ideas into value creation.
Course description
In Entrepreneurship B, students use the Lean Canvas—a tool for visualizing startup business models—to create business models for launching new ventures. This is done using topics covered in Industry-Community-University-Finance collaborative PBLs and global PBLs, as well as ongoing project topics. Additionally, students explore social impact.
From the perspectives of Social, Business rationality, and Creativity—that is, SBC—we will verify whether business models are balanced and well-structured. Students will create pitch materials and deliver presentations aimed at realizing these business models. By implementing this entire process through active learning involving lectures and exercises, the goal is to acquire the practical skills needed to transform ideas into value creation.
