Purpose of class
Students will acquire fundamental knowledge necessary to understand architectural production as an economic and industrial activity.
The course aims to enable students to understand the activities involved in each phase of a project, including planning, design, construction, and operation.
Course description
Architectural projects involve a wide range of stakeholders throughout the lifecycle—from planning and design to construction, operation, and maintenance. After studying architecture at university, graduates are expected to contribute to various professional domains. This course provides an opportunity to examine architectural projects from multiple perspectives and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the overall process of architectural production.
